Dr Omid Zarghom

DrOmid Zarghom is a consultant Gastroenterologist at the Hospital for SpecialistSurgery (HSS) in Norwest and a visiting medical officer to HealthwoodsEndoscopy Centre.

Havingfinished his Physician training at The Alfred hospital, Melbourne, he completedhis Gastroenterology training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Westernhospital in Victoria before moving to Toronto, Canada to advance his trainingin Endoscopy and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) at the University of Toronto,Canada.

DrZarghom has extensive experience in the management of complex patients withUlcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease following the Inflammatory BowelDisease (IBD) fellowship in Canada and has ongoing clinical research centredaround new therapeutic treatments for IBD. He has a special interest in diagnosticand therapeutic Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy in addition to Pillcam (capsuleendoscopy), Coeliac disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
